The basis for this is criminal investigation findings.
Experienced police officers from the police station offer the families concerned the opportunity to be looked after by a qualified educational specialist from the initiative. The service is voluntary and free of charge.
As a cooperation partner of the police, the Verein sozial-integrativer Projekte (ViP), a youth welfare organization from Münster, takes over the support of the participants with two pedagogical specialists and develops tailor-made measures together with children and parents on the basis of a declaration of consent by the legal guardians.
The assistance is provided on an exclusively voluntary basis; no social data is returned to the police. Supervision of the educational staff remains with the provider. Priority is given to existing local services. If necessary, however, measures are also developed and implemented together with local providers.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please get in touch with the named educational professionals and the police contact persons.
