Burglary in apartment building

(jd) Unknown persons took advantage of the owner's absence to break into an apartment on Rostocker Straße. When the woman returned to her apartment on Monday evening (22.09.) at around 10.50 p.m., she discovered that a wall safe was open. This is located in the woman's living room. The suspect or suspects stole a small amount of cash from it. How the strangers managed to get into the apartment unnoticed and then open the safe is still under investigation by the Herford criminal investigation department.
