Traffic accident when turning

(jd) A traffic accident occurred at 1.45 p.m. on Monday (22/09) on Weseler Straße. A 41-year-old man from Bünder drove his Toyota out of the junction of a parking lot and intended to turn right in the direction of Herforder Straße. At the same time, a 74-year-old man from Bünder was on the cycle path next to Weseler Straße. When turning, the two road users collided, causing the Toyota to come to a standstill on the bicycle. The 74-year-old was slightly injured in the accident and received medical treatment on site from the ambulance crew that was called to the scene. The material damage to the bicycle and car is in the three-digit range.
