(jd) A woman from Loehn noticed on Tuesday (June 24) at around 7.15 a.m. that her Seat was damaged. She had parked the car on her property on Obernfeld Street at the lecture. The unknown perpetrator or perpetrators rummaged through the vehicle in search of stolen goods, but did not take anything. Another resident of Obernfeld Street also discovered on Tuesday morning that her Ford had been attacked by unknown persons. The car had also been parked on her property since the previous evening and the strangers stole identity documents and a cash card from it, which they used to withdraw money. At around 7.45 a.m., a 48-year-old man discovered that high-priced tools had been stolen from his Fiat, which he had parked on Königstraße at 4.45 p.m. on Monday. A few hours later, another Löhner noticed that the passenger door of his VW, which was parked in Gladiolenweg, was open. Here too, unknown suspects searched the interior. The Herford police are currently investigating whether and to what extent the crimes are connected. Witnesses in all four cases are therefore asked to call 05221/8880.
