Public relations work is about making police actions transparent and understandable.

The Münster police want to convey a credible image of their work to citizens, provide information and promote trust, understanding and support for police work.

Public relations work deals in particular with
 

• maintaining the Internet, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram presence
• participation in external events
• the organization of own events
• the support of campaigns
• the organization of exhibitions
• Supporting visitor groups
• the creation of brochures, flyers and posters

In addition to the external presentation, internal public relations work is also carried out to inform colleagues. This is done, for example, via the internal police intranet, which is available to all police employees, and by publishing the employee magazine "Tacheles".
